thrilled that you took the time to visit us.  I am the founder
and owner of Commemorative Quilts.

How we were born:

On May 6th, 2005 I had a moment of clarity that changed
my life.  I love quilting and other people do too, but in
today's busy life, most people can't, or don't have the time
to quilt.  So I thought it would be great to put together kits
so that people can decorate their own quilt, and then I
could sew it for them.  That way they get to make a quilt
without the tedious work that entails to sew one.  From that
moment on I worked to start my business.  On Aug 1st I
made my first sale.

About my Quilting
I have been quilting for the last 15 years.  To date I have made over 140 quilts, all of various sizes- and each one
unique.  I love quilting, I think it must be in my blood- but in today’s busy life style not many people have the
chance to commit themselves to such a large scale project as making a quilt.  That is why I founded
Commemorative Quilts.  My company allows quilt lovers to make their own quilt, without needing to know how to
sew, without having a sewing machine, or the time to dedicate to the project.  You decorate the pieces- and I do all
the sewing for you!

Of course, I still quilt for my own pleasure- and I love the challenge of taking someone else's vision and memories
to make a quilt from it.  So if you are interested in having a custom made or memory quilt, I encourage you to
consider us for those quilting needs as well.

I hope that Commemorative Quilts can bring a little more quilting into your life, and the beauty and joy as well.
